Really Awful Matryorb Tutorial

I don’t have many images at all right now so I apologize but let’s see how this goes. All of the crafting credit goes to our Karkat of the group. I just helped with horns and basic stuff and typed this lameass tutorial up. I apologize for any mistakes I overlooked and this post will probably be edited many times after I press that silly post button. Oh well.

[We own nothing but this tutorial. Everything else belongs to Andrew Hussie.]

What you’ll need:

  • Styrofoam ball [We used an 8” ball]
  • Model Magic for horns and covering styrofoam. [I suggest getting a couple packets or the 2 lb. thing since there are a lot of horns.]
  • Knowledge on how to make basic horns
  • Cup or some sort of drying stand
  • Wood filler or spackle to fill cracks in MM [we used wood filler for ours. make sure it doesn’t change size dried.]
  • Sand paper [fine and medium] 
  • Mod Podge [matte finish]
  • Black/grey, red, and yellow acrylic paint. Jade colored paint is optional. Mix the yellow and red for the right colors.
  • Wire [I forget what kind we used [totally helpful] but just make sure it’s sturdy-ish. This is for your stand and/or your horns to be attached to the orb.]
  • Patience and time
